Was wondering if this is a good deal, I was planning to build a pc on my own but I found this offer on eBay. It has no graphics card but I could definitely buy a gtx 970 4gb as I was planning to for my old build. What do you think? He says he can also install water cooling which I would've been too lazy to do.

Solution
Exactly. If its not new, I get real leary. Mainly because few people are going to sell something that was working perfectly. And if you buy something from someone that you cannot go knock on their door, you have absolutely no way to get your money back.

Seems decent enough. 12GB of ram is an odd amount. Not 8 or 16?

There's no SSD which you would want. Delivery is £50 which you could spend on your own parts if you built yourself.

He has no returns policy. I'm always wary of buying computer components on ebay. Who knows he didn't try to over-clock the CPU to the extreme and possibly damage the motherboard! Hard to tell looking at a pic on ebay.

Building your own computer is the best fun ever!

Don't take the easy route - plan and build your own beast!

GOOD LUCK

I read the headline. I got images of the sleezy looking guy at the used car lot telling people, "This was my sweet dear grandmother's car. She only drove it on Sundays. She has passed on, and I will sell it to you for an amazing price!!"

And then you look inside and the odometer shows 3 million miles.

This is exactly what it would be like, except over the internet, so they could easily screw you over even more.
