after I install the new components into my PC will it just boot up like normal since I already have windows on my SSD or will I have to reinstall it or something like that?

Solution
New motherboard + old drive and OS = maybe reinstall required, maybe not.
Fresh install with a new motherboard is always recommended.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it does, but issues crop up later.
Prepare for if it does not work, be thankful if it does.

Also, depending on what specific Windows license you have, you might even need to purchase a whole new OS. An OEM license is tied to that original motherboard.

Almost certainly a full reinstall will be needed.

Find all your license keys, etc, before you do this.
Save anything important elsewhere.
All the usual things you'd do before a clean install of a whole new OS.

If I reinstall I have to format the drive right?

That partition, anyway.
And all your applications will need to be reinstalled. Just like when your OS was brand new.
