Torn between FX - 8320 and FX - 8350

So I'm torn between these two 8 core processors. I have everything I need for a very nice AMD build involving an R9 280x for GPU power. Both of these FX CPUs seem very good and very close but I don't know which one is better for practical purposes (those purposes being gaming). The 8350 is 30 dollars more than the 8320 and they both seem so very similar. I also worry about bottle necking since my GPU is rather powerful. So for practical purposes which one is the right way to go for my gaming machine, especially with big games coming out like Fallout 4, the division, etc?
Thank you

A powerful GPU isn't exactly a need for an AMD CPU. Also a R9 280X is a good price : performance GPU, however it isn't exactly "powerful" for this generation.

Also the CPU will not bottleneck the GPU don't worry ^^

Anyways the difference is that the FX 8320 is clocked lower than the FX 8350. Basically the FX 8350 is factory overclocked, so if you want to max out the clock speeds of the FX 8300 series a FX 8350 will give you slightly better results. However if you are only going to do light overclocking a FX 8320 would be a better price : performance choice.

If you do not have a good motherboard and do not have decent cooling a FX 8350 will do better.

If you don't mind going through the trouble of overclocking, and your mobo is good enough, get the FX-8320. But if you don't want to or your mobo isn't good enough, go with the 8350.

My moboard is a decent one costing 80 bucks. Its an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 so that should be good enough for overclocking right?

$80 Motherboard for FX 8000 series is not good for overclocking and the LE will limit it too.

After thinking about what you said I will go with the FX8320 and just go with a better cooler to over clock it. Thanks for your assistance it was greatly needed.

Its too late and Im too poor to go intel haha. In the future I will definitely go intel though.

The m5a97 le is not a good board for 125w 8 cores mate.

Buy a fx6300 & a decent downward blowing cooler like the raijintek Pallas as the vrm's need cooling too.

Stick an 8320+ a towervcooler on that board at your peril - it will absolutely 100% throttle under load.
