INTEL 750 PCI-E or SFF-8639 connection (ASUS X99 Sabertooth)

G'day,

I have just purchased a ASUS X99 Sabertooth, and would like to know is there any difference using the Intel 750 Series 400GB SSD PCI-Express or would it be better or the same as the ASUS Hyper Kit Expansion Card M.2. and Intel 750 Series 400GB PCIe NVMe 3.0 2.5in SSD

I only plan on using two GTX970 so there will be a free PCI-E 16 slot?

Is the existing m.2 full? Adding more wire length will slow it down a small amount, but it does not matter. Go for what looks the best.

I would go with what looks best as well, which I think to be the PCI-E card variant. M.2 adapter on the Sabertooth means you'll need to take part of the thermal shroud off and have that ugly dongle stuck there + wires.

I was mostly concerned with performance over look, but the connector and hard drive work out to be $100 more so PCI-E it is!
