To sum it up in one word: overkill. However, there are some tweaks I'd make. The power supply doesn't need to have that much output rating. A 750 watt will do. However, you do have room for SLI in the future with the current one.
Your SSD should probably be over 200 GB. 120 is enough for Windows and a few games, but having a bigger SSD will improve reliability and make sure that you will have enough room for all of the applications you want to store on it.

Actually my monitor is 2160p so a single 980 Ti at the moment is actually a tad "underkill" for the newest AAA games... I know I went way over on the PSU, but that is so I don't buy a 750w then in a year decide to SLI and have to buy another >850w, practically buying 2.... I'm just waiting for that SSD to give me trouble before I buy another one, I've had it forever... At the time 120GB was over $100 now its half that!

How so? yes you'll have a bit more spare capacity, but you'll just fill it, that's kind of the point of a drive. In terms of endurance, it'll be the difference between 5 years and 6 years, I'd say not important. By far the bigger issue when it comes to reliability is the specific choice of drive.

I'm not convinced that the V300 is great, and it seems to be a weakness in a $2.2K system to have that level of storage. Get an M2 drive? if you have an M2 port on the mobo.

OP, might be an idea to wait for the next intel launch, after all it's meant to be in three weeks?

First off, I own everything but the cooler, motherboard, case, and PSU. So I cannot wait for Skylake as I already have the 4790k. Unless I will be able to sell it for a reasonable price I've got it for the long haul. I have the 212 EVO right now and all of my temps are garbage. It is because it's summer time but if anything over heard it doesn't care what season it is. Plus a CLC looks Cooler & neater and at this point I'm going more towards aesthetics rather than performance as there's not much room to go up without enormous negative returns
