Hi there. I just built up a new pc and my graphics card is MSI gtx 970. After installing windows i proceeded
to install the drivers etc. When i tried installing the graphics card drivers i couldnt do it because it says it couldnt detect my graphics card. Only selected graphics card was the intel 4600 or something. I tried setting my primary to PCIe from auto on bios, but i think it didnt save it because it cant detect it. I also tried removing the graphics card and reinstalling it but it didnt help neither. Should i try installing the windows again ?

It was my first time building a pc and im getting really depressed now since it took me 7-8 hours and i still dont know how to solve this :(

Have to fit both the 8 pin and 6 pin slots to fully use your GTX 970. Also you have to plug your monitor to your graphic cards, not the motherboard.
Whether you disable the integrated graphics or not doesn't matter.

I plugged the monitor to the motherboard only.

Uuh i plugged 8 of them, the rest(6 of them) remain unplugged.

i5 4690k
MSI gtx 970
Asus Z 97 A
2x4 gb 1600mhz ram
Cooler master 212 evo
Thermaltake v51 case(its together with the psu, which is thermaltake smartpower 80plus bronze 750w)
Asus vn247h monitor

I havent overclocked anything yet because i am really new into this kind of stuff and i feel like i missplugged something very basic :D

Get into your bios and disable the on board graphics so there is not a conflict. Power down system. Make sure your video card is seated properly in the pci express slot. You may have to put some pressure on it. Some cards have a led light to let you know it is seated properly. Power on and you should be good to go. If that doesn't work you may have a defective card.
