It doesnt matter, seasonic brand PSUs are relatively good in terms of quality and stability. I have seen people run the GTX670 on 430w Corsair Bronze rated PSUs for years without issues so seasonic PSUs should have no problem

I'd like to weigh in and remind OP that the GTX 670 requires two six pin power connectors.

So make sure your power supply has the supplementary cables to run the card.

I wouldn't advise using molex to six pin adapters.

But I should also remind you that Nvidia is releasing the GTX 950 on August 17th for about $120.

The same price you can get GTX 670 used around the Internet.. .....

And it would only require a single six pin power connector and run on 92 watts of power.

(And offer about 50% more performance.)

It wont be 50% faster than a 670. a 960 is barely faster than a 670

lol thats what I was thinking, that would imply that the 950 is going to be faster than the 960 (which the 670 trades blows with) haha

Regardless, the 950 will have support for Directx 12, use less power, and be a little faster.

According to my benchmarks my 960 is about 45 - 50% faster than my friends 670.

We both played the same game on similar computers at the same settings.***

I average about 15 - 30 more FPS than he does.

The Secret World - Max Settings

Xeon W3520 (i7-920) - 6 GBs of RAM (me)
vs
AMD Phenom II X6 1045T - 8 GBs of RAM(him)

GTX 960 - 1080p / 85 - 91 fps
GTX 670 - 1080p / 65 - 78 fps

I imagine that it depends on the title.

You can save money with the 670. I can tell you that even as old as it now, it'll be a solid contender for at least another three years or so.

At least until DirectX12 takes over and people are forced to upgraded because video game companies no longer support older versions.

They did that with DX9...

Is it worth the upgrade to the 960 for an extra hundred dollars when performance may only effect half the titles?
