BSOD/freezes with ram inserted in one particular slot - is the slot dead?

I just spent the day installing a new water cooling kit for my 7 year old (but sporadically upgraded) PC. Although the process was a bit more involved than expected, I got the kit working fine.

However, one of my ram slots seems to have given up on life during the process - When I boot with any of my ram sticks in that particular slot, I get a BSOD shortly after "Starting Windows" appears. Rebooting without removing the stick after that prompts me to run startup repair or start Windows normally. If I opt to run startup repair, it says "Windows is loading files" for a short while, before just rebooting by itself. Choosing to run Windows normally sometimes does exactly the same thing ("Windows is loading files") or just the regular BSOD during "Starting Windows".

Most of the BSODs flash by too fast to read, but the ones I have been able to catch were identified as "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" or "MEMORY MANAGEMENT".

If I enter the BIOS settings, the computer completely freezes after some time, without any BSOD or automatic reboot. I was also able to get Windows fully started once, but it blue-screened right after.

Windows starts and works fine without any ram stick in this one particular slot. I have tested swapping the sticks around, and only when one is in that slot do I see these issues.

I assume the slot has died and that I would need a motherboard replacement (or just a new computer), but I just wanted to know if someone could confirm if that is the case or if there is anything else that could be tested for and perhaps more fixable on my end. The BIOS detects all of my 8gb of ram with all ram slots filled, if that makes any difference.

Solution
Might try loosening the cooler then snug it back down screw tight, if too tight in a corner or side, it can throw off full contact of the pins affecting the MC (memory controller
This file is suss aog6eay6.SYS

Possible Avast is causing one or 2 of these crashes

Is Openvpn installed?? This file should be updated tapqqvipacc.sys it's old

Is daemontools or some kind of cd emulator program installed? This is a known cause of crashing

Since this file is installed sptd.sys

The main prob will be this 0x24 stop error which means files are corrupt

Thank you for taking the time to read through the dump files.

I haven't installed OpenVPN myself, but apparantly it's some part of Avast - there was an OpenVPN folder inside the Avast one. I uninstalled Avast to see if it would change anything.

I had Daemontools Lite installed. I uninstalled this as well.

I could not find aog6eay6.sys anywhere.

After uninstalling, I filled ram slot 2 again (I have 4 slots, and the second is the bad one) and got to "Starting Windows" before it suddenly said "Windows is loading files" again (without asking me to do any repairs). After a few seconds I got another "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" blue screen.

Then I rebooted and tried starting up Windows in safe mode. After the list of drivers was done, it gave me a quick BSOD again, before rebooting by itself. Freeing up the ram slot made the computer boot normally again.

There are no new files in the minidump folder.

Could corrupt files affect one particular ram slot in this way?

Thanks for the suggestion. I just tried loosening the screws a little bit, while making sure it was still firmly seated, but unfortunately it didn't change anything when booting with the bad ram slot filled.
