I just recently wiped or reset my pc and i have a 2 Tb hard drive. After the wipe I have about 900 Gb out of 1.8 Tb. I'm wondering how I am somehow taking up 1100 Gb of space with nothing on my computer?
When you "wiped" the drive, did you do a clean install and delete ALL the prior partitions? If not, there is probably a system restore partition, boot partitions and possibly a windows.old partition taking up space.
What windows version do you have, was it a prebuilt system and did you delete all the existing partitions or did you just format the existing C:/ partition?

It was the windows.old folder created storing my old programs etc. so I used disk cleanup and deleted "previous windows installation(s)" and free up a ton of space. Thanks a lot!
