AMD FX-6300 3.5 ghz 6 core processor

I'm buidling a new PC and was wodnering if the AMD FX-6300 coupled with the GTX 960 would run GTA V and be alriht to use for rendering.
I work with Premiere and Photoshop!
I use steam for gaming and record gameplay.
Games I play are: Terraria, Castle Crashers, GTA V, DOTA 2, and League of Ledgends.

It'll do alright in most of those games. For gta v it might have to have the settings lowered some. Most of those other games aren't all that demanding. The i3 would do a bit better in photoshop but the 6300 will do better in premiere. I think an fx 6300 and gtx 960 are pretty well balanced.

The FX6300 is alright IF you put it in a GOOD motherboard. If you can't afford to put it in a $80+ motherboard, you may as well get an Athlon x4 860k.

I agree with vlxedits though. The i3 is better for sure. You can also use cheaper boards with the i3 making it cheaper overall too.
