Idea for Video Editing & Gaming Budget PC - NOT SOLVED YET!!!

Hello everyone,

I need a new PC for Video Editing using Premiere Pro, After Effects, also some light Photoshop. I don't render or use 4k, and only use a few effects. Also, the PC should be able to run Games such as CS:GO at mid-high settings.
My other Problem is that I don't have a huge budget, so I would be delighted if You could come up with one at around $400 to $800. Please try to stay in that range :)

Again, a List of everything that should be included:

-CPU (Intel?)
-GPU (NVIDIA?)
-Motherboard
-RAM
-Power Supply
-Case
-SSD (Small, only for OS and selected Apps)
-HDD (Storage space for everything)
-Windows


To be honest, I am completely lost and have no idea what to buy. There is nothing online about such a machine.

Ahh well this will be my opinion.
Cpu: Something by Amd. Lots of cores for not very much. Intel has shredding SIngle core performance but you pay alot if you want 8 cores for intel. Would recommend something from the 8300 line.
Gpu: For gaming? I'd recommend a 970 for most any game on high settings. More budget oriented stuff should lean towards a 960 or like r9380 or r9 285.

Motherboard: preference as if you want overclocking and other stuff. Motherboards are just paying for what features you want. (usb 3.0 ports, crossfire/sli and overclocking and max ram)

power supply: opions for how much wattage you want. efficiency rating and company. I chose a corsair just as a reference.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Sorry for not saying that in the Description, but I'd prefer Intel and NVIDIA. The CPU is not so important, but I really need a NVIDIA GPU, because of Cuda for the Adobe Apps. Also, not all parts are available here where I am, which is in Germany :)

All of these builds would get the job done. Which do I like? The one with the Xeon. Which has the best value? The one with the Xeon.

If you want more graphical performance, go with the first one.

Never use a Corsair CX power supply. They are over priced units. You are paying a premium for a mediocre at best PSU. The PSU Nuckles used is the same story. Both tier 3 units.

I would love to see any AMD CPU on the market go up against the Xeon E3-1231 V3

You forget hes on a budget? Xeons are unnecessary entirely for this guy. 8 threads will be enough Yes But. we dont wanna lock him out of overclocking entirely or make him get server grade ram do we?

Also thanks for Your help! But again, not all the parts are available in Germany. You can change your country in the top right hand corner btw :) Yeah thanks again, but I really have no clue about anything here ;), so I'd like to stick to known brands and such :)

Also a CS is hardly overpriced for 69 dollars for 600 watts the only ones you could get cheaper would be the Untrusted ones. I know they are mid ranged units but funny how if you look at 600 watt Psus its listed with the Highest positive reviews out of all 600w psus at 5star also Evga 600 watts are more expensive. I said it was just a reference anyway
