Hi all,
I've been shopping around for a good PSU to use in my first (gaming oriented) build. After reading a bunch of posts on this forum about the importance of a solid psu, I've become a little paranoid and would like to buy a solid, reliable one. Unfortunately, my budget is not that high. (Hoping for under $100 Canadian after taxes, shipping, MIR, etc.) I was looking at the Antec Neo Eco 620, which seems to be getting good reviews, but I came across an Antec Earthwatts EA-650 on NCIX at a very good price... The only catch is it's open box. So, what would you recommend? Is it safe to buy a psu on an open box deal, or am I better of buying the Neo eco brand new? (If it matters, they are within $4-5 of each other.)
Thanks so much!
