Hello, so I was just watching videos and all of a sudden I go to open an app and it told me the shortcut was going to be deleted because the file could not be found. So I went to the file location and all the files in the folders were gone... so I checked all the files in my folders on my secondary HDD and all the files are gone... OKAY!! So I restart my computer, now my secondary HDD doesn't even show up anymore. Another reboot, it still doesn't show up! Disk mgmt!!! Not even there. Weird... also during the reboots, my computer took a really long time to reboot which shouldn't happen with my 850 EVO SSD. Now I go to shut off my PC, screens off and says no hdmi signal, that generally means my PC is off but nope! pc remains on for 2 mins. Okay I press the reset button my the front of my PC, it resets. Now OS loads fast again, all window files show up again. everything there and working just fine... Should I be concern or worried at all?

Hi there shawnchao,

I would also say that most probably your secondary HDD is most probably failing.

In case it is currently recognized, you need to back up the data stored on it as soon as possible.
After that, you can do something simple as just attaching it with different SATA and power cables to a different port. You can test it with some of these tools as well: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
The results should provide a S.M.A.R.T. report which will show the overall health status of the drive.

Yes you should.

It sounds like the second hard disc needs replacing - this sort of behavior happens when a drive is starting to die. Copy all your critical data off it asap and replace it.

Also, make sure your antivirus etc is all up-to-scratch, just in case that is a factor
