Hello community!I had problems with my cpu(overheat). So,i reapplied thermal paste, cleaned all dust, buy side case coolers.Everything was great.Cpu temp was around 46 at 100 load.I was checking temperatueres every day, same thing everyday(46c at load and 30 at idle).Yesterday my computer went off.I checked cpu temp at BIOS it was 95C.Now my cpu overheats dramaticly :(.Also, there is a weird thing about temperatures at cpu. When i start stress test temperatures rise up from 25 to 40 just in 1 second, when my cpu reaches 90 C and i stop stress test it goes to 60 in 1 second. Also there is a difference between cpu and cores(at idle 20C).Maybe cpu sensors went wrong?

it's possible the sensor reads badly if you smeared paste all over the cpu socket when you reapplied it. check the cooler, make sure it hasn't moved around on the cpu/socket. such high jumps in temperatures usually happen when the cooler is moving around freely and doesn't stay secure on the cpu

Well i didnt changed anything at my cpu.Paste and moving around cooler isnt the case.Cause it should overheat after the fix(i played 2 weeks with no problems).I didnt changed anything in my hardware!

Fans are good.Specs:
Cpu:amd athlon 64 x2 4800+
GPu:nvidia gt 240
PSU:sven 400W
Motherboard:Msi ms7369
RAM:2gb
Heatsink:some cheap model of Titan(but i didnt have troubles with box cooler) .I think that the most interesting aspect is that cpu worked good 2 weeks, but i might be mistaken.

I'ma say try reseating the cooler. At worst it costs you a few minutes, at best it fixes your problem. After that I would check fan profiles if you have that on your motherboard. Other option would be that the spring type latch thingie is coming loose, in which case it's time for a new cooler.

But if i had that type of problem i should saw that two weeks ago.Again, everything worked fine. So,that`s probably not my problem.Am i right?

no. it can be that in the 2 weeks the paste hardened, or the cooler came off, either way, if you take the cooler down, and reseat it with new paste it will tell you if it's this problem or something else. if after the reseat everything works again, it means the cooler/paste is at fault. if it still overheats you need to search for other culprits.

Here you can see that there is some overheating point. The cpu cooling is stable till it reaches some point. For me,its weird. If there is some troubles in my cooling system it should rise up just when the load starts.I also checked temperatures with my finger(when it was 70C).It was just warm.I think that this is sensor faulty

Before we can say that the sensor is faulty, leading you to an RMA or perhaps a new chip or expensive monitoring tools, let's try the easy things first rather than just go bullheaded in the faulty chip direction. The vibration of the fan could have unseated it enough to where it's gotten air in the paste which would give you the same results, it doesn't have to be some one's fault, but if you come here for advice, and we give it, take it, don't argue with us. We try the easy/cheap things first to rule them out, then move on as necessary. As far as you touching it and it not feeling hot, you can't put your finger in the middle of the heatsink where the heat is, everything else on the heatsink shouldn't be all that hot to the touch. Doa quick google search for CPUs without the heatsink, some of them catch fire almost immediately without a heatsink. That would be the temp where the heatsink touches the CPU, nowhere near where you can put your fingers. Or, for a better idea. Put a good load on your video card, get that around 70C, then put your finger near where the GPU is on the card, that should be around that temp, but video cards are safe at that temp. Well, most are.

I cleaned dust and reapplyed thermal paste.Nothing changes.
