hey friends :)
lately i was saving some money in order to buy a decent Graphic card ( the r9 270x ) 190 $
but yesterday i found a sapphire 7870 tx with boos 2G and the price is really interesting about 140 $ ... i went to google and see how the performance is .. and found out the r9 270x is actually a 7870 ( non tx ) tweaked .. and the 7870 tx is actually slightly better than the non tx
so i want your advice and wich one should i buy ..
by the way im gaming on a 900p

Solution
There are no inherent problems with 7870 GPUs.
The xt is based on the 7950/r9 280 Tahiti chipset anyway not Pitcairn.

There were 4 different brand models released ,the sapphire is easily the best of them.

If that $140 is new with warranty it deserves serious consideration.

That's an awful lot of performance for the money !!

Be aware it can suck up close to 200w so needs a good 500w PSU.

i love this card i had it since it was released so around 2012.. i have it overclocked at 1150 Mhz i run all games at 1080p with no problems what so ever. like the witcher 3 high-ultra settings with hairworks off at average of 40 fps so i say thats pretty good, don't know how it will handle upcoming games. but i haven't faced any issues with it. i say go for it since your going with 900p too it will be more than enough :D!
