As the title states. Looking at an I3 build (LGA 1150 So I could upgrade to an I5 in the future if needed) But need to know if running a 750 ti sc 2gb vs a 960 2gb or 960 4gb is worth it. Max res is 1366x768

R7 260x is better value, but is quite thirsty.

Hopefully I did this right but, not sure on the Radeons. .TBH They seemed pretty easy to follow model wise until after the last 0000 series they had. Not sure power supply should be an issue as I'd pretty much get what i need vs what i could have. (hope that make sense)

Go and read some benchmarks comparing the 960 2gb v 960 4gb. The 4gb is fairly pointless. Playing at 768 the 960 2gb will be plenty and a 4gb version would perform the same. The 960 is much stronger than the 750Ti so if you have budget for a 960 then dont even consider the 750Ti

I don't really have budget for the 960 to be honest. So I'ts more or less a future proofing question I guess? I have no issue running 720p. But I fully realize that it's not the best possible resolution /use of my video memory for my build. Hence why I'm asking. Like I stated My intention is to go I3 720p to i5+. So the question I need is 750 vs 960 (I can guess) But I'm asking the people who have them vs theoretical comp designs.

Most builds I see are asking for 1080p+ hence why I'm asking.

Both will work at 720p but the 960 will give higher fps running at higher settings. Only you can decide if that's something you want to pay for. The 960 should last longer

It would be good to know your exact budget. It doesn't matter if you're running at 720p or 1080p it is easier if you give us a budget to work with so we can correctly allocate money into the cpu/gpu etc.

Personally you should not look to upgrade on the 1150 platform as 1151 will be coming out within a year.
