Display switched by accident on an asus laptop. Windows 8.1. Now no picture. How can I fix this?

Solution
Do you remember how you switched displays? Do you have an external monitor connected to your laptop?

If you're using another display connected, your laptop, or just about all of them for that matter with video out will have a function FN key combination with another key, probably one of the F# (F1,2,3 etc depending on model but they're common) to switch between external monitor and back again. Read your manual online or hard copy to see which combination it is.

Doing a system restore may not fix your display issue since it's restoring the operating state rather than the Laptop's initial functionality where as a factory reset would restore everything including display by default as it was out of the box.

I hope it fixes it btw since...
