About 8 months ago I bought Gainward's 780Ti Phantom because I couldn't be bothered waiting for the 900 series to be released and it was good, performed great with the games I had at times, never overheated or anything considering I only used it at around 20% load.
Though now with more demanding games or under sub- heavy load e.g. around 40-50% load, my 780Ti begins to produce screen flickering on my dual VGA displays and along with it there is this unmistakable clicking noise coming from the PCB supposedly, it's definitely not the fans or shroud blocking the fans. EDIT: Forgot to mention, it gets worse under sustained heavy load and sometimes my display adapter crashes.
From what I can tell the noise is coming from the card but if you believe it's something else my specs are:
Case: CIT Vantage Mid Tower V2
CPU: AMD FX-8350 @ 4.01GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780Ti Phantom by Gainward
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
RAM: 4x G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 4GB | 16GB @ 2133MHz
SSD: OCZ SATA 128GB 3gb/s
HDD: Western Digital WD10 SATA 1TB Caviar Blue
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit (obviously)
Sorry for the wall of text, any advice appriciated.
