Hello all,
I have a bit of a hack project I need help with. I have a 12 volt fan with a 3 pin connector that I need to hook directly into one of the 10-pin connectors on the Antec 620 power supply.
Now, before you scratch your head and ask "what the hell is he doing", let me explain.
I'm using the Antec PS as the power supply for a 3D printer. Thus, it's sitting on my desk next to the printer. However, I'm in SoCal and need to solve the issue with keeping heat off of my extruder because my filament is cooling in the extruder shaft and clogging. That's probably more than you wanted to know, but there it is.
My plan is to construct a bracket to mount on the front of my extruder, blowing directly on the motor. But, I need power.
If there is an adapter that anyone can link to, that'd be awesome. I know you folks are about the smartest on the planet when it comes to this stuff so I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance.
