Hi All,

Today I have bought 3 new CoolerMaster fans into my Computer. My PC is around one year old, I have built it by myself (it's my 14-15 selfbuilt PC), so basically I know what I am doing.

However a strange thing occured to me and I cannot find an answer to it.

Before installing the new fans I have made a careful pre-cleaning. Installed the new fans (not touching the other parts, I mean I haven't modified anything in the case) and when I have tried to restart my PC, fans are working perfectly, but no screen, DRAM Led is continously red.

Then started to plugging out the fans. Still nothing. Then I have plugged out the old fans too. Still no screen.

Next step was to look the RAMs one by one. I have 4 exactly similar Kingston 2 GB RAM. (1333Mhz). I have checked every combination.

Now it seems that my computer is working but just when I plug out all of the fans and take 2 out of 4 RAMs.And it seems that 2 out of 4 RAM slots are not working either.

Could you please help me what kind of problem am I facing? Now it seems the RAMs have damaged, and with the Fans the PC doesn't start but it's really strange and unusual for me.

CPU: Intel i5 - 3570k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760
RAM: 4x2 Kingston 1333Mhz
Motherboard: Asus P8H77-V
Case: CoolerMaster Storm Scout 2
Monitor: BenQ G2220HD
PSU: Gigabyte Supertb 620W 80+

Hi All,

Just after I posted my problem, tried to rerun my Comp. I have slacked the mobo screws (read somewhere that it can be a solution), pressed again button under my DRAM led (memory OK button) and started to put back the rams and plug in the fans. After every peace of installation i have tried to restart my PC. I don't know what happened, but now my computer is OK. I have had to push the button twice more, but now it is running perfectly.

Anyway hope I will help with this to somebody and really sorry for the unnecessary thread.
