I need some help, I have;
Msi 970 gaming
Fx8350
1tb ssd
Msi r9 290 4gb
16gb samsung 4x4gb ddr3 pc3 12800
Cool by corsair for the cpu
And 850 psu
Now I have installed the ram on the board and it shows 16gb and the it shows me 7.95gb useable, now I have tried everything on the Internet to change the (hardware reserved) and now I am looking for help, if my 4x4gb ram is all 12800 pc3 ddr 3 would that make it single channel ram??? I have taken it all out and moved them around but to no avail, I have checked all the serial numbers and have found that the last two digits have numbers (81+82) and the other two are (D1+52) now that to me says that they are not matching pairs would I be right??? Any help would be appreciated.
