Hello I am building my first computer
my parts are:
AMD FX-8320
ASUS m5a 78l-m
1TB Western Digital Blue Hard Drive
2 x 2GB sticks of DDR3 RAM
XFX Radeon R9 280 BOOST 3GB Graphics Card
and some generic DVD reader+burner
3 x 120mm fans
would a 500W power supply be enough to run all this?
by my calculations it should use 459.8W
CPU - 125W
HDD - 6.8W
RAM - max 8W
fans - 30W
MOBO - max 60 W
DVD - max 30W
GPU - 200W
