Hey,
I've assembled my new custom build PC with 16GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz DDR4 ram on a MSI X99S Sli plus mobo, but only 12GB is showing up, both in the BIOS and in windows.

ALL sticks is in the right slots, and clicked in place. When i monitor my mobo in the BIOS i can also see that every ram stick is detected, in the slots, but still only showing 12 GB. I've also updated the BIOS to the newest version, and tried switching the sticks, and no.. The CPU pins aren't broken, i've checked that too..

Hope someone can help!

I have the latest BIOS, yes.. But i dont know how to raise the voltage in my motherboard-bios. And (im a little newbie) is VCSSA voltage for the CPU or RAM ?

Another fun fact is that if i open up CPU-Z it detects all 16 gigs

Ok, so i found the solution.. Thank you for the help Tradesman! Actually i change the DRAM Timing to "Link" and manually set the timing, frequencies, AND voltage..
