8 GB is plenty for streaming & video editing.

And also, I don't think you could get to 1 TB in 2 years. If you do, just simply add another drive.

Nvm, I thought Western Digital was better than Hitachi. Other way around. Seagate is the worst though, looking at annual hard drive failure rates.

The sound card is for the headphone amp

Don't get me wrong but I read somewhere that the case I have has 4 120 mm fans and 1 200 mm fan included. It seems like a lot of cooling is it not?
And the extra RAM is there because I want to start streaming and maybe video editing so I thought why not.
