Get rid of AMD GPU Drivers & Install Nvidia?

I wanted to get rid of an AMD 7450 and replace it with an Nvidia 645 however every time I put in the Nvidia card the computer doesn't boot, it stays at the HP Screen (I have an HP NO. 1234) however when I pop in the old card the computer boots up fine. How do I fix this?

The driver won't matter until you are in Win. It is only loaded once you are in Win OS. But the card may be defective. Or your PSU may not be able to drive that higher wattage card.
