Monitor not running at Native resolution?

Hey guys, I am new to PC gaming and I recently updated my drivers on my R9280 GPU to the 15.6 Beta drivers. After the reboot my monitor is not running at its Native 1920x1080x32 resolution that it has ran at for the entirety of its use. As I said I am new to PC gaming and some help would be nice.

(At my native resolution the windows is significantly smaller than my monitor with a large thick black line of unused screen above, below and either side of the monitor)

Revert to the previous stable driver (that means don't use a beta version if you expect everything to work properly).

Beta versions are for testing on a spare computer in order to report any bugs prior to it being officially released.

To revert to the previous driver version:

Device Manager.
Double-click the AMD R9280 entry.
Click the 'Driver' tab.
Click on the "Roll Back Driver" bar.
Click 'OK'.

Then restart Windows.
