Building a Small Form Factor PC for Architecture, 3d Modeling, Design, and Rendering

Similar to this recent thread, I want to build a PC for 3D modelling and architectural rendering. I will be using SketchUp Pro for modelling and likely Lumion or similar for rendering.
I understand that Nvidia Quadro video cards are a best bet for large SketchUp models.
Particular to my situation is that, as a Canadian snowbird, I migrate North and South annually so I don't want to carry a full size desktop on my annual journeys. The smaller the form factor, the better! I have (and will not carry!) monitors, keyboards, mice in each location. I do not have and will need an OS.
