I built my PC about a year ago, and so far, I've had no problems with it. Until about 2 days ago...

I was playing Witcher: 2, which I've played before multiple times with no problems, getting an easy 60fps. For reference, I have about 60 hours logged over the course of this past year, so this is definitely a recent issue. Anyways, I'd been playing for a couple of hours, when all of a sudden my pc insta-reboots. No blue screen or error message. Just a straight reboot.

Before I launched it I remember seeing a steam update, which I didn't click, but must have downloaded and installed, because when I reopened steam after the reboot, the logo + interface was different.

This problem persisted until I attempted to fix it by running diagnostic checks on my software etc. I finally decided to reload an old old save and see if that would help. It did help, for about 10 hours, and then insta-rebooted on my 15 minutes ago.

I opened it up in safe mode, and opened device manager, and a AMDA00 Interface device had a little yellow triangle next to it. I think this is a driver for my motherboard, although I'm not quite sure what it does. I tried updating the driver, but it says its already up to date. These are really my only leads as to what's causing this problem. Keep in mind I've tried playing other games as well as ran a couple video card benchmarks, which my computer easily tanked all of them. So for the time being, it appears to only be the Witcher 2 playing on steam that my computer has difficulty with.

Also, not playing the witcher 2 again is not an option.

Extra info:

Specs:
Intel 4770k
Nvidia GTX 780
Asus Maximus Hero V
Gskill 1600mhz overclocked at 1866
Samsung 840 Pro
850w PSU

Things I've already tried:

Ran memory diagnostics
Checked drivers were up to date (all apparently are)
Reinstalled gpu drivers (GeForce experience is/was giving me error messages, maybe that has something to do with it)
Reinstalled steam
Reinstalled witcher 2

I'm at a loss and I don't know what to try next, and there's very little help on forums and other websites. Any help would be much appreciated!

It's a Corsair Enthusiast 850W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Although it seems like the obvious choice, I don't think it's a power supply issue. 850 is fine for a 780, and I've run multiple stress tests and multiple high-end games. Witcher 2 is the only game that has a problem
