I have a 1TB WD My Passport. I had shrunk a 20 GB space on it and it was fine. Let's call them A and B. So B was 20GB empty and the rest of 1TB had remained for A, which included about 500 GB data. I wanted to create a recovery drive from windows 8.1 of my Dell laptop onto drive B. When I started the Dell laptop's wizard for creating the recovery drive, in the middle of the process, it gave an error and stopped. Then I found out that the structure of the whole Hard has changed. It shows the first drive of about 32 GB (empty) and the second one is an unformatted drive of about 900 GB. This happened 3 months ago and I tried a few recovery tools like Recuva, iCare. They did not recover any thing. I used trial version of easeus and it showed some of the data. But because it was trial, it did not allow to recover. Since I had exams and a project, I did not continue and I left it until now that I want to try again to recover the deleted partition.

My own thought is that when creating a recovery drive of laptop on drive B of MyPassport, it should have started to format drive B and that part of MyPassport should be changed. Now that there is a 32 GB and 900 GB (unformatted) partitions, maybe if I merge them, the filetree will be
restored for most of the files. But I don't know if this is quite right and if so, how should I do this.

Please help me.

Thanks in Advance.
