RAM upgrade help

Hi forum,
I currently have acer Aspire V3 571 laptop which currently runs on 4gb ram. I want to upgrade it to 8gb ram to boost the performance of the onboard graphics (intel hd 4000). The model of the existing memory is kingston ACR16D3LS1NGG/4G. I couldn't find exactly the same memory on logic price so my question is if i buy for example a kingston ACR16D3LS1KFG/4G will it work as it would work with ACR16D3LS1NGG/4G in dual channel or not.

Upgrading the RAM will not make the HD 4000 graphics any faster. It might make the computer better able to handle multiple tasks at once but it will not improve gaming.

i know i wont notice dramatic difference in fps but i will see an improvement even if it 5 fps only. My question is will kingston ACR16D3LS1NGG/4G and kingston ACR16D3LS1KFG/4G will work in dual channel. Both rams are made for acer laptops but i guess for different acer models.

Where are you buying from? Newegg and TigerDirect both show it if you are in the US.

Will it work together? The only answer you can get that is honest is maybe. The only way to know for sure is to try it. If it's the same speed, voltage and timings then probably but there is no way to say for sure.

unfortunately i am not from US and to get the ram from US from eBay its 50 euros which is more than overpriced. i can find the other one in much better price
