So a day ago i got on my computer (after i left it on overnight like i typically do) and i couldn't help but notice just how painfully slow it was to just do a simple task like open my folders (a link from my desktop) but i lived with it and jumped into a game. As soon as i got into a game (the game was a bit slow from the start) my fps goes from like 200 to 0 for a few seconds then comes back up. I shrugged it off and it didn't happen until about and hour later where ever 5 min or so id go from 200 fps to dead 0 for 5 seconds at most. At this point i couldn't deny something was wrong so i ran a scan on malware bytes and scheduled a disk check. Scan showed no results and chkdsk didnt do much either. When i restarted it was a little slow but less so then before. So again i jump into a game. No fps drops this time. However when i un-full screened to open chrome it froze (chrome not the game) and chrome NEVER freezes i can have you tube up an be playing a game and it wont freeze. So at this point i have no fucking clue whats wrong and im like i give up. and then my 3rd monitor turns off like out of the blue. (and i had this problem before,i was gone for a week on vacation and when i came back, my computer wouldnt get past the dell screen. and was continuously beeping) From there i tried to right click my desktop to get to screen resolution and my computer froze up, when i finally did get in though it was detecting the 3rd screen (which was still off). AND THEN the rest of my screens when black and the computer totally froze. When it came back the other screen came back on. And i haven't touched it since.
Thoughts?
Oh and the computer is a Dell optiplex 780 mid tower. I upgraded the CPU from a dual core E8400 to a Quad Q9650 the thing is almost constantly at 67-70C (sometimes it hits 72 typically while playing GTA V) while playing games 40-45C idle and i dont think my graphics card had ever gone over 70C
My Specs My Computer Specs:
Dell Optiplex 780
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
Intel Core 2 quad Q9650 @ 3.00Ghz
8 GB Samsung PCI3200 DDR3 Ram
70 GB Seagate Barracuda HDD
320 GB Samsung HW31 HDD
1 TB Western Digital HDD (Primary HDD)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti 2 gb GDDR5
