Do some games lag on xbox 360 when installed?

i installed thief today to my Xbox 360 when the first hq cut scene took place i experienced a small lag.what could this be?

On a console you just have to live with the performance you get. Most recent games on 360 run badly because they're downsized ports of Xbox One games.

I see.as you said it looks like a problem in the game.i thought my xbox was overheating or something bad was going to happen.if you fast forward this video to 19.56 you can experience a small lag like for a fraction of a second.the same happens in the console that i own
