How to dual boot win 8.1 with win 7

My friend has a lenevo z51-70 which he wants to dual boot with win 7 ...he got 8.1 pre installed in the laptop but he wants win 7 for compatibility with games ...plz help ..(win 7 is in a bootable pendrive )..reply fast and thanks for your time...( He has 4 partitions with main drive where OS is installed is 146gb and other 3 drives are 256gb)

Are there some specific games he needs it for? I'm running Windows 8.1 and haven't run into any game that doesn't run on my system (since upgrading from Windows 7 ages ago).

Same question. Are there specific games that your friend has verified don't work on Windows 8? I have yet to find a game that doesn't work on Windows 10. Other then Fallout 3 saying it may not work but actually does.
