I'm running a 144hz monitor 1080p and need a little more horse power. I have 2 options, should I get a second 780, or a 980ti? 780 would be cheaper but with Win 10 coming I would like to take full advantage of DX 12. Any suggestions?

Solution
980ti again

Overclocks to run like a TitanX
Uses less power
More stable/compatible than an SLI setup
Even overclocked, it runs cool and fans are quiet on most 3rd party cards.

MSI, EVGA and Gigabyte make some of my fav Maxwell cards, with the Gigabyte G1 Gaming series being mad fast for overclockers while still cool and quiet.

Single 980 ti hands down. Both of those are severe overkill at 1080p, but the 980 ti is a much better option. It will be way more stable in games that any SLI configuration, it is newer tech, it will require WAY less power and it will have better support.
