I already have 2 1080p monitors and i am think of getting another gtx 970 and a asus rog swift.
I will only be gaming on the 1440p monitor, will 2 1080p monitors effect the gaming performance on the rog swift?
yes, slightly, hang the two 1080p's off the igpu? a single 970 in SLI is not bad for 1440p
How would i got about using the intergrated gpu for the two 1080p monitors only,is it simply a case of plugging into the motherboard display ports ?
Possibly; it depends on the motherboard.
Some simple motherboards from pre built vendors will disable integrated graphics adapters when a discrete card is detected.
Since you have two monitors, try the experiment of connecting one to your integrated adapter to verify that all would be ok.
I think not.
At one time, I installed a separate cheap graphics card for some side monitors.
It made no difference.
Side monitors are usually somewhat static and add no measurable load to gaming on the main monitor.
