Ok so I noticed my PC was being slow recently like it can't do anything it freezes doing actions and it would never open Task Manager. So I thought I would reboot and launch Task Manager right away to see what's going on. While I'm monitoring nothing happens until 5 minutes later my cursor had a loading symbol and Task manager was slowly using up my memory. It just kept going up and up and then the freezes started to happen. I am confused what is going on but it started happening and I had other problems before hands like Power Kernel resets which someone said it could be a software issue since it doesn't blue screen it just starts up again. I am using Windows 8.1 and these problems started happening when it told me my win key is expiring. I don't have a legit copy either :/ is a format needed?

maybe send a screenshot of the performance tab if you look at the ram usage the highest usage is 300MB and the fourth highest isnt even 10 so unless you have 8000 processes running i dont see how this is happening

also are you an admin or are there any other users on your pc/logged im not really sure about this but it could be that you cant see ram used by other users

7000 processes that might means you have some sort of virus or malware wich spams processes to overload the ram and disk usage or you have too much garbage programs installed

also was this screenshot taken right after booting up?

It fixed that problem thank you but I've had another trouble with this PC to, usually when running apps and games it unexpectedly restarts. So I play a game 5 minutes later it black screens and says starting windows 8.1.

Logging in is fine. I don't know how these issues occurred or any fixes. Its a hard one. Someone said it could be the CPU others said it could be software but its hard to pinpoint it. The events that took place before this happened was I installed a new PSU and GPU, I accidentally left heatsink unplugged and used the PC for 5 minutes, I installed a new Wifi card. I found out its not a PSU issue, it could be CPU or Wifi card, i had another wifi card which worked with that cards drivers so I didn't bother changing that. This happened on the 13th and having all this stuff worked before that day including the new parts

I have an a8 6600k and I put in a gtx 960 which I returned. I removed all drivers and stuff thinking this would work. It was working for 3 days then errors occurred so I took it out. I am using my integrated graphics again in the meantime but it still persists to do restarts

okay can you look at services in task manager and see if anything shows up with the letters NV in front of it you might have to search a bit since there are usually quite a bit of them

I have enough power I think, I did tests and it seems stable. The lights don't go off when it restarts the screen freezes and shows it loading windows again.

Ok this is weird I load up task manager and something called COM Surrogate appears? But it only appears for 5 seconds then disappears. I load up task manager again and it only shows for 5 secs. I heard this is a virus maybe by clicking search online

First try scanning viruses with anti malware bytes to see if you have any viruses
Second, what is your temps while gaming? It could be that your desktop is overheating which could be why you get a black screen
Third check that the hdd is not corrupted as you don't have a legit version of windows. Make sure that the os itself is not a virus.

Did scans with 3 antivirus programs, they didn't find any big threats just cleared empty files. Temperatures I mointored on speedfan idle temps are around 30-40 and when I hear the CPU fan increase in speed temps increase to around 50+ this can happen when I game but it doesn't happen often. I have an A8 6600k using intergrated graphics and I have had the pc for 6 months roughly. I will be doing a format maybe soon and install a legit copy of Windows 7 to see if it fixes the problems.
