So this afternoon my toddler got under my desk and turned off my surge protector. I didn't think anything of it until I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on correctly. MOBO runs through the checks for DDRAM and CPU and then shuts off from there.

Tried using just single sticks of ram but didnt make a difference. I haven't had a chance to take everything apart yet and try that but if anyone has any suggestions that be wonderful.

Specs:
Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
AMD 8350 FX Black Edition
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 SSC with ACX 2.0+
G.Skill Ripjaws X - 8gb and 16gb
Rosewill Photon 650 Power Supply
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
Seagate 1tb SSD

Thanks for the help in advance.

Solution
Maybe from the SSD, when the power fault will corrupt the SSD data, here is the info http://www.zdnet.com/article/how-ssd-power-faults-scramble-your-data/
1) Clear the CMOS by removing the battery, and boot the PC, if it has same problem. Try the 2nd step and other steps.
2) You may try to see you can boot into the safe mode or not by press the "F8" during the pc boot.
3) Or try use the Windows disc to boot the pc, and run a "Startup Repair" if you use the win7 ( or win8/8.1) http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html
4) You may need reinstall the Windows again if that causes the data corrupted.
