So as the title says, i have decided to buy Windows 8.1, but now i have a small dilema, i have found at the store i was looking at both Windows 8.1 Professional Retail and Windows 8.1 professional OEM. Now will it cause any problems for me if i buy the OEM version, such as being unable to upgrade my Motherboard in the future without having to buy a new operating system? Which one should i go for? OEM or Retail and does it even matter? Is there any noticeable difference in the way those two work or it's just the name (licensing)?

Thanks!

I guess i will be buying retail for my main PC then.

Also i want to ask, since i have a PC that currently has no OS installed, i wanted to buy an OS for that one too later on, now i wonder if i buy it.. let's say 2-3 months from now, will it qualify for the free upgrade for windows 10? I want to try Win 10 on that PC as a secondary before i go ahead with upgrading on my main PC.
