Hello...

I have a Guardian 921RB case, and my XFX R9 280 is so wide that its power cables seem to go within the fan blades of the side panel fan. What can I do- to reroute the cables to be able to use the fan again?

Solution
Your cooler is on wrong. It should be flipped 180degrees so it is blowing OUT the top of the case and the top fan should be an exhaust. This will help alot.

I think I do, but you might no think so. Here's my setup.

I have 2 intake fans, one at the top feeding the CPU cooler and one on the front side of the case feeding to the hard drives.

I also have an exhaust fan next to the I/O shield.

Problem is I have no fans blowing air over the GPU, which is a R9 280 and it gets pretty hot in here, both in the case and the room.

Negative pressure is fine. People think it matters but it doesn't. Negative/positive pressure is something that mattered in the early 2000s with tiny fans and servers. It makes no difference for a gaming PC.

Heat rises. Your top fan need to be exhaust. It current is just trapping hot air in the case.

Can you post a pic of your PC?

Alright. So I flip the cooler, turn the top intake into an exhaust, and turn the top left exhaust into an intake?
