It's already been said, but this could do with a bit of work if you are using it as a gaming rig. I'm not overly experienced, but i have just finished what i think is a pretty sweet gaming build, so I do have a few recommendations which I hope will help.
~Most games don't yet benefit from multiple cores, so you are better off getting a z97 platform with an i7 4790k (an i5 4590k would do, but you appear to have the money and the i7 is worth it).
~Dual channel ram beats one stick, either a 2x4 or 2x8 if you want the extra.
~You haven't mentioned storage, my recommendation would be an SSD for OS and primary applications, and an HDD for games and primary storage.
~As far as PSU goes, get a good one, you'll use it for longer than most other components, so 80+ gold, a respectable brand and adequate wattage are important.
Also I recommend NOT using parametric selection to decide on parts, take your time, read reviews and find out what parts are the best for you, not just the cheapest that ticks a few boxes.
