New build won't turn on, tried every troubleshooting advice possible.

Hi, so I've tried literally every troubleshooting advice but nothing works.

The psu is working (I tried with another unit but it didn't power on the build), every cable is correctly connected, the panel connectors are correct, the ram is compatible and fine (doesn't boot even with just one installed, tried multiple placement combinations), and I've tried different power outlets.

I'm at a lost. I'm really hoping it's not my motherboard, but the pc doesn't even power on with just the mobo, cpu and psu connected. I made sure to ground myself before touching any piece, and I did so every few minutes.

I undid the whole thing and tried to test only the cpu/mobo/psu. Nothing. Then shorted only the psu. Nothing. Changed all the 750W cables to my 550W cables, nothing. Tried shorting the 550W, nothing.

No clue what the fuck is going on. I refuse to believe BOTH psus (brand new, recently ordered) are defective.

So it's the A55BM-PLUS? If it is it needs BIOS 1601 to support that CPU

Look at the sticker on the mobo . It maybe right of the ATX12v connector. What are the last 4 numbers on it?

Yes, that's the mobo, sorry I should've linked it. There's a sticker above the RAM slots, the last four numbers are 1002. Did I get an incompatible mobo?

It's not incompatible, but it's 5 bios updates behind. On what it needs so it'll support that CPU

If this is why it wont post you may have to borrow or buy a CPU that it supports flash the BIOS then put this one back in

Or take it to a shop and ask someone there to do it

If you wanted to try one you would have to buy or borrow a CPU that says 1002 or under from the CPU support list.

So it'll hopefully post so you can flash the BIOS

I'M RETARDED NEVER MIND, I DIDN'T PLUG IN THE OTHER CABLE THAT'S IN THE MOBO CABLE, I DIDN'T KNOW YOU HAD TO PLUG TWO THINGS IN THE PSU FUCK
