Mixing Kingston Hyper X 4GB with G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB or similar variant with no repercussions?

Hi,

Current Specs:
Tower: HAF X
Mobo: P9X79 PRO (LGA2011)
Memory: KHX1600C9D3/4GX x4 = 16GB
CPU: i7 3930K
Also note, I might barely make the low profile requirement of the CPU heatsink I have:
Noctua NH-D15

If I want to increase ram, can I mix with this ram (suggestions welcome, 4 slots available):
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB
with no repercussions? Meaning no lower timings, CL, voltage, additional tweaking, hassle, etc...

Any time you mix sts of DRAM it can be and often is problematic, even with another set of the same exact model - best to get a package of the full amount you want/need and the sell the old or use in another rig
