Ram Upgrade Error

Hello.

I've currently 2GB DDR3 RAM installed in my CPU. Now, i tried to add another 4GB DDR3 RAM stick, but the CPU doesn't boot and gives a continuous beep sound. Both the rams work fine separately, but not together.

Which Motherboard? Bios up to Date? Update inside bios not within Windows.

Clear CMOS/reset bios by jumper while both sticks are installed. Be sure that the sticks are in the right DIMM slots, if the motherboard has more than two slots.

Yep, need mobo and models of the DRAM at a minimum, chances are good the sticks don't want to play or the DRAM isn't compatible with mobo or CPU

Would start with just the 4GB stick, go into BIOS and raise the DRAM voltage to 1.56 and save, exit shut down, then try adding the 2GB....If no joy we can try raising the MC (memory controller) voltage

Actually the DRAM voltage is by default 1.6, and i can raise it by increments of 0.1 upto 2.0. So, do you want me to raise this a a bit?

I actually don't know where is the memory controller voltage for AMD bios.
