PC randomly shuts down and starts back up during gaming

As the title states, my PC blacks out without warning (all fans and LEDs turn off, etc. etc.) and turns back on as if it were a regular boot. This has only happened while I am gaming so far, but a few minutes ago when I turned my PC on while the fans are running, it turned off like I described and turned back on (this all happened before the motherboard splash screen). This is one of the only events where it did something like that without me gaming. My part list is as follows:

i5-4460, 3.2 GHz
ASRock H97 Pro4
8 (4x2) GB of memory
SeaGate Barracuda 1 TB HDD
Sapphire R9 280
Corsair CSM 550w
Windows 8.1

I tried stress testing the power supply to see if it was faulty (with 10 minutes of FurMark), but it held. I have also tried to update all of my drivers and it was going smoothly for a couple of days, but it started to do it again recently. I have also monitored my temperatures and they all were perfectly stable. GPU never goes above 65 C, CPU as well as motherboard never above 50 C.

It is also worth mentioning that a few months ago the PC would half turn on (chassis fans and their respective LEDs would turn on, but none of the fans belonging to the CPU, GPU, etc. would turn on.) until I reconnected the 24 pin motherboard connector. It hasn't done it since. I have tried to check my connections, but it doesn't seem like it is at fault here.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.

First of all the CSM 550W series are not very good quality. However 550W should be enough.

Your 4x2 RAM came in a set correct?

Also 10 minutes of FurMark is no where near enough to test anything also FurMark only tests GPU.

Install CPUZ, GPUZ, MSI Afterburner, Aida 64, check everything there.

The memory did come in a pack, yes.

I did the FurMark because of my suspicions that the power supply was at fault since it only happens on high GPU load and power draw like during gaming. I probably should've done a longer trial, but sometimes it happens within the first 10-20 minutes of playing a game like CS:GO. The shut downs have always happened, but infrequently (1-2 month gap between each), but it has happened once every day since last week.

I used CPUZ and MSI Afterburner to monitor my gaming sessions with heavy games and found nothing out of the ordinary.

Thanks for reading!

I don't really check, but IIRC, above 200? It never drops below 100, that is for certain.

Resolution is 1680x1050, and my settings can be found here: http://goo.gl/2GrUZ8 (imgur link).

Edit: 60 Hertz

Haha, nice. I'm pretty new to the scene (http://steamcommunity.com/id/arcaneteaparty/) and have since abstained from playing much because of the shutdowns. Happy birthday by the way!
