Yes, believe it or not tomorrow will be arguably the most important day in PC computing and technology industry as a whole in like last 2 years.

The most important software that you are using will finally be released to the public (finally you will be able to buy it on USB as well).

I just don't see any excitement from you guys.

Get ready to upgrade your systems.

They call it a free upgrade, but if you want media player, mail support etc... You have to purchase them, so in the end you have to purchase a lot of apps to get the same functions you had in earlier versions.
This is after you create a Microsoft account, because without an account you can not purchase anything from the app store.

So? I have an account and i have been using W10 Tech Preview for 6 months now. It's really amazing, Microsoft actually did something right this time.

The reason you need an account is so you can seamlessly move from W10 to say Xbox One to a Phone. Apple does the same, so does Google, heck you have to register for lots of stuff these days.

Well, unless you physically go into a store and buy W10, it's a relatively small chance you'll actually get it tomorrow. MS is going to slowly roll-it-out so as to not gangbang their servers to death, and also to watch for any critical errors that they can cause in only limited numbers.

Well, fingers crossed that it doesn't destroy my main gaming PC when which I have the reserve on when it does come out, thankfully if worse comes to worse i've got a backup PC that's still about 80% as strong as my main PC, and my important files are in the cloud.

I'm kinda excited about being able to actually call my computer a useless piece of a s*** and have Cortana respond back to me though. I also expect visual mods for Cortana will be available in the new future to give you the Halo experience or make her into some other anime waifu.

It comes with a media player but not the media center. That's actually why I don't be upgrading my main computer, I'll lose the XBOX 360 extender and I use that a lot. Not sure what you mean about missing mail support, most people use web-based email or Outlook.

All windows have had mail support, Outlook Express(95-XP) or Windows mail for Vista onward, hidden in windows7&8, but could be enabled.
Win 10 does not have native mail support, you have to buy an app or a new version of office.
Kind of like anything below Office 2007, Outlook would not work on windows7, Everything but Outlook would work, so if you needed Outlook you would have to buy it again.
Forced software upgrades, although there was no reason except Microsoft decided to put it on the list of incompatible hardware.
