I recently installed an insignia 500 watt PSU into my brother's computer and sometimes when it turns on all of the fans run on max and the monitor won't turn on/windows won't start.However this only sometimes happens but when it does,unplugging the power to the motherboard and plugging it back in fixes it.This Power supply is about a year old and was just a stop and grab on the run because i needed a cheap one at time.I highly doubt it's a short because the wires are thick with a black mesh around them.Is this a BIOS problem?
