Windows 8.1 crash, apparently due to ntoskrnl.exe and power driver state failure?

My Windows 8.1 laptop seems to always crash when I shut down, due to a driver power state failure. Also if the computer tries to sleep Windows restarts and then prompts me on restart that it crashed. It started maybe a few weeks ago after a couple years of seemingly good performance. I just downloaded BlueScreenView and it appears that nearly all the crashes are caused by ntoskrnl.exe.

I am hoping that there is something I can do to prevent these crashes. I already purchased some software called "PC Reviver" and used it to update all drivers and delete registry errors, but this crash persists. I noticed that each time I start up windows there are 2 new registry errors, per PR Reviver. I am not sure if that is related.
