What Power supply wattage would i need for this system ?

Solution

Since your PSU is Tier 1, it will have headroom for overclocking. However if you are looking for higher overclocking on the CPU & GPU you should consider a 700W or 750W Tier 1 or 2 because the R9 390 does eat up power inconsistently compared to the GTX Maxwell Lineup, however i would personally be comfortable with the V650.

SeaSonic comes with 7 year 2-day free replacement warranty and platinum rating. All components inside are engineered to be run at 100% load 24/7.

And SeaSonic manufactures 70% of all high end power supplies on the market that other OEMs just rebrand.

You can buy Seasonic for $100, they go on sale often.

EVGA has a 5 year warranty. You get what you pay for :)

I have personally used about 15 Seasonic 660W Platinum units with 0 failure rate, several computers running SLI and CrossFire.

You are so deluded.

If Seasonic PSU's are having sales, so do EVGA GS;s, i love recommending Seasonic PSU's however your argument is completely uneducated. I currently own a Seasonic 620 M12II 80+ Bronze, it is an awesome Tier 2 PSU, i would recommend this all day. It's simple the version you are recommending is fantastic, however it's just not worth the money.

"I have personally used about 15 Seasonic 660W Platinum units with 0 failure rate, several computers running SLI and CrossFire."
Invalid argument. Every single Tier 1 and most Tier 2 PSU will do the job exactly the same.

You are simply loyal to the brand & psu you own and want others to own the same PSU as your self, thus resulting in weak arguments and stubbornness. I'm just being objective.

^ok, that's your choice. You can find Seasonic for about $100 on sale with better parts internally and 7 year 2-day replacement warranty or save $20 and get a lesser unit with 5 year warranty. Yes, quality and extra warranty are not free.

I'm going to have to stop countering your arguments.

Everyone has their own beliefs.

My last statement is that it does not have better parts.
They are both Tier 1 PSU's with equally capable parts. Other than the 2%+ Efficiency & 2 Years more warranty, there is no difference.
