You fail to mention the chipset. There are X99, Z97, 970, and many more Extreme 4 motherboards. It is a sub model, you need to make sure you purchased the correct chipset that can support your LGA 2011 v3 socket which is X99.

Supposed to be compatible with i7-5930k. But It looks like i7 4xxx series should fit because of the notches,but it don't even when arrow is lined up.? Neither processor fits.
Bought board used off ebay, put i7. 5930k in and it lights the board up and that's all. I believe it's a faulty board. I'm thinki n G of buying a new Evega X99 classified.
