Asrock Extreme4 motherboard

Asrock extreme4 is supposed to use 2011 v3 i7-5930k cpu ,looks like a 2011 prossor should fit but neither processor fits.?! Are the boards defective?

You fail to mention the chipset. There are X99, Z97, 970, and many more Extreme 4 motherboards. It is a sub model, you need to make sure you purchased the correct chipset that can support your LGA 2011 v3 socket which is X99.

What part doesn't fit? Look at the CPU notches, it only goes in one way.

Supposed to be compatible with i7-5930k. But It looks like i7 4xxx series should fit because of the notches,but it don't even when arrow is lined up.? Neither processor fits.

Bought board used off ebay, put i7. 5930k in and it lights the board up and that's all. I believe it's a faulty board. I'm thinki n G of buying a new Evega X99 classified.

It would be X79 and DDR3 RAM if it is for 4960X, 4930K, so forth..
