Hello!
I am currently helping someone who uses Snow Leopard OSX and is having startup issues. I did not see the issue personally, but issue is described as the screen intermittently going black and freezing up when he starts the computer in the morning. He says that he does a couple hard reboots and after that it is fine for the rest of the day.
My friend seemed to think it was video card related (he saw the startup error in person). When I went onto the computer, everything appeared normally (no flickering or artifacts) and all the adobe suite products we use were working normally (illustrator mainly, but photoshop and after effects).
The only thing I found that supports the video card claim is when I went to check the video card specs I noticed something strange (image)
Is 32GB of total VRAM legitimate? Or is that a clear indicator that the video card is going downhill?
Thanks in advance!
